Think on these things

Always think on the things
That are honest, just and true;
So God's Word exhorts all of —
His children, and me and you.

Things that be of good report,
Anything worthy of praise;
If we dwell on these things,
Our thought-life we raise.

To meditate daily on things
Pure and lovely indeed —
Is beneficial to our health;
It's our mind's greatest need.

So then, think on these things;
It is God's wish, yes it's true,
And His heavenly prescription
Is good for me and for you!
