Louis was one great poet,
God's one sure gifted man.
His words, our God, glorified,
I, for sure, was his fan.
He stands apart from others
With poems to our God,
Though he, himself, just a man,
Yes, made from dust and sod.
His poetic words so true,
First, Second, most a ten,
His rhymes were so very sleek.
He stands ahead of men.
He fought that nasty cancer.
Though Satan hit him hard.
His words for God still spilled forth,
His death, his winning card.
So, read his poetic words.
As often as you've time.
They'll lift your soul very high,
And glorify in rhyme.
