Dear Lord Jesus, thank you!

Dear Lord Jesus, I know I don't say it often enough -
Thank You for Your wonderful, so amazing love!
Thank You for snatching me out of the devil's claws;
For loving me just as I am, with my many flaws.

Thank You for being there, when I was all alone;
You are my Savior, my God, my Forever Home.
In You I've found a Friend, Helper, Guide, Protector;
I am God's beloved child now, not a sinful debtor.

Countless times I've fallen, so often gone astray -
Faithfully, You always set my feet back in the way.
Lord Jesus, thank You for being so patient with me;
Without Your grace and mercy, where would I be?

What would have become of me, if it weren't for You?
Thank You for everything You've done, and still do.
Thank You for Your presence, so unimaginably near;
For listening to my prayers, for holding them dear.

Lord Jesus, faith in You is what makes me complete;
Through You I live in victory, no longer in defeat.
Thank You for giving endlessly, and without measure;
You are my inheritance, and my greatest treasure.

Knowing You, the Truth, Lord Jesus, it truly is freeing -
Now there's room for me to grow, as a human being.
Thank You for guarding me, under Your watchful eye;
For holding my tiny hand in Yours, until the day I die!
