I BELIEVE

by Peter the Poet
www.youtube.com/channel/UC_GtbBeRm8ctYlmNqax4afA

I believe that the Most High sits on the throne,
My affairs and my house he looks after.
All that I own is not mine but on loan,
The Lord provides all as my Father.

I believe that Jesus came to save all men,
His sacrifice cleared the trail.
For the fallen to unite in Heaven again,
To lift up the downtrodden and frail.

I believe all is possible in Jesus's name,
If it's used with conviction and faith.
Sickness I can banish, death I can tame,
Fear and hunger disappear without trace.

I believe that Satan's army is loose,
Leading the Lord's sheep astray.
But their days are numbered, their necks in the noose,
So lets soldier on day to day.

I believe in Gods Spirit, my helper and guide,
And the powerful gifts that he brings.
He ensures that in the Lord's ways I abide,
For his presence and strength my heart sings.

I believe in God's Word, it's truth and it's power,
Each verse has a message for all.
It awakens and refreshes like a spiritual cold shower,
It's pages they beckon and call.

I believe that God's kingdom awaits all those,
Who have the courage and will to obtain.
If your faithful to God then his door will not close,
So be strong and salvation you'll retain.

AUTHORS NOTE:
God is in total control of all that happens or can happen. I believe this with all my heart. Everything we possess, he has allowed us to attain. He has predetermined our spouses, our children and everything they possess. The same goes for our jobs and the place we fill on this fleshy world. Therefore the needs of his people will be met provided that his people do not stray from him. So lets do our work for the Lord to the best of our ability secure in the knowledge that he is always doing his.
