You are such a little place,
But out of you came One,
Who changed the human race.
O Bethlehem Ephratah,
Thousands visit you each year.
They visit the birthplace
Of our Lord and Savior so dear.
O Bethlehem Ephratah,
Jesus came to you from on high
And was born in a lowly manger.
For our sins, He came to die.
O Bethlehem Ephratah,
On the third day, Jesus arose.
He arose and had victory
Over death and all His foes.
O Bethlehem Ephratah,
Christ Jesus died for all,
And whosoever can be saved
If upon Him, they will call.
Micah 5:2, "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall He come forth unto Me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting."
