Gratefully Grateful

This year's different
Who would have guessed
Some have plenty
But many have less

As I sat in bed one night
I thought about a lot
I thanked God for the things I had
And for the woes that were of not

Everybody's different
That I understand
I just hope that if a Christian
We'd present a better brand

Showing Jesus with love and hope
And not with worry or with greed
Forever grateful for the cross
And His word that truly feeds
