DEAR LITTLE ONE

by Kristine Stanton © 2025

Breathe easy, My dear, little one —
rest calmly in My hands.
I'm here to heal your tiny limbs —
and help your lungs expand.

Although you might not know Me now,
I know your precious heart,
and I am here to give you life
with each breath I impart.

I know each hair upon your head —
I knit you in the womb.
I'm here to bless you, little one,
and save your soul from doom.

Now, sleep in peace and do not fret —
come, let me see you smile
as I hold you in my hands
and bless you, My sweet child.
