Seasoned With Salt And Fire

Everyone will be seasoned with fire,
May purity be our one desire.
To live a clean life, free from corruption,
May the will of God guide every action.

The Holy Spirit will burn out all dross,
As we daily come before the cross.
Humbly coming to sanctify our hearts,
As His grace and mercy He imparts.

Choosing to value truth and honesty,
And living our lives with transparency.
This is how we become seasoned with salt,
As a living sacrifice we, God, exalt.

We fear Him, worship Him and obey Him,
In turn, He fills our hearts up to the brim,
With a love and peace that's like no other,
This helps us serve and give to another.

Being pure will show in our attitude,
Our words and actions will show gratitude.
To the God who gave Himself for our sin,
Now we can run the race and, the prize, win.
