End Time Condition

by Elizabeth Sinclaire
https://theladywordsmith.godaddysites.com/

There is a trend,
Of chasing the next spend,
And forgetting on Whom we depend.
Instead, they're eager for ways to bend,
The standard we defend.
Neglecting what the warning sends,
A commandment not to blend!
Instead, it's from the world they lend.
Unknowing that it's all pretend,
The church they claim to mend,
Would they listen to a friend?
Instead, eager to offend,
While holy judgment must descend.
Lord, please hasten when Your Bride ascends!
For everyday She must transcend,
The darkness that was penned,
To wax worser in the end.
