A Call to Battle

We're kept by the grace of Jesus, God's Son,
By His word rich in mercy, we know Him.
Our enemies in Jesus' name undone,
Hosts of the Devil know their fate is grim.
Onward and forward as Christians we go,
Attired in Christ, not fretting and doubting.
Not fooled by each wind and doctrine false, no,
His banner we wave, His love we're touting.
Join up Christ's ally, you won't have regret,
It's in His hands, not those who fortunes sell.
The fight is on, and the wager is set:
Divert souls Jesus' way, forgoing hell.
When written on our hearts is God's law,
All our good works won't burn up like the straw.
