When the Saviour comes again,
Will your lamp be lit?
Or will you look in vain
For oil, e'en a little bit?
When the Saviour comes again.
Will you be at your post?
Or will you be counting your gain
And making sure you've the most?
When the Saviour comes again,
Will you be seeking His Will?
Or will you His counsel disdain
So all your desires fulfil?
When the Saviour comes again,
Will your heart be chaste and pure?
Or will it the world entertain
And be caught in its lure?
Lord, when You come again,
May I know and heed Your voice.
Then, lead me to a higher plain,
That I may forever rejoice.
