White as Snow

by Raydene Nash

Whether by drop or dollop, scarlet stains
Are no match for our righteousness all white.
The much more Jesus did means we remain
As white as snow, no scarlet stains in sight.
Upon the cross, Christ thirsted, hung, and bled,
Foretold by prophecies, with each fulfilled.
By faith when Rehab hung the scarlet thread,
Her house withstood, on firm foundation built.
A life of sin to feed her house she'd led.
Upon discovering that grace conquers,
She lived a life of righteousness instead,
Such that only being cleansed will foster.
The much more of our Savior Jesus means
Our purity shows that we are redeemed.
