FORGIVENESS

by michael whalen © 1998

Be forgiving to one another, even as Christ has forgiven you, what would life be like ,if these words were not true?
Jesus said,we must be forgiving if we are to enter Heaven, and not just once or twice, but seventy times seven.
This is how we are to be with each other everyday,so let us not let begrudging get in our way.
On our knees in prayer may the Lord teach us how to forgive, for it is one of the key essentials to this life that we live.
Without it we are hopelessly lost, for the bitterness will keep our foundation in the Lord unsettled and forever tossed.
Remember,if you dont forgive,He doesnt have to forgive you,can you stand to be unforgiving in all that you do?
And you, giving account for every sin, what if He said ,"Im sorry, but I cant forgive you,you cant enter in?"
Thank God ! That Jesus died and gave His life for our sins, for without the blood He shed for us,theres no way we could enter in.
I thank Him that He cast our sins as far as the east is from the west and are lost in the sea of forgetfulness.
He said,"That He remembers them not", and we are to be like Him,if we claim to be blood bought.
