walking amongst the red dirt
seeking healing for my hurt,
Central West Emmaus
hope - despite my chaos.
walking on the pilgrim's road
embracing the grace bestowed,
learning a brand-new chorus
while singing de-Colores
Walking side by side with Jesus
learning of the grace that frees us,
walking knowing we are blessed
secure in the love expressed.
walking never on my own
sheltered in the love that's shown,
In amongst God's glory
He transforms my story.
walking the paths of Ridgecrest
in the refuge of God's breast,
a gathering of the west
learning how to serve Him best.
a walk that does not finish
for its light will not diminish,
shining in the lives it touched
bringing beauty to the crushed.
walking in a different season
knowing Jesus is the reason,
may we share the hope we know,
In His goodness - may we grow
Walking side by side with Jesus
learning of the grace that frees us,
walking knowing we are blessed
entering God's precious rest.
