Only Two Dimensions

There were only two dimensions
We wish that there were three
But church's bold intentions
Are sometimes hard to see.
Such beauty in the service
Authoritative praise
But still a human focus
With very human ways.
What is the third dimension?
The Holy Spirit's flow
And Holy intervention
Will set the church aglow.
For God, in all His fullness
Will cause our hearts to burn
And bring Divine awareness
With power to discern.
The three dimensions bring Him
Before our longing eyes
The Spirit will define Him
And worldly longing dies.
His world and resurrection
Would make this world bereft
And brings a new direction
Home we should not have left.
Though we ourselves are rooted
And walking on this earth
His Face is not diluted
For we have seen His worth.
