A PRAYER FOR CALIFORNIA

We're at a loss for words, LORD,
but You know every heart. . .
Please help the Californians
who have been torn apart. . .
All those who've been affected
by such horrific fires.
Come wrap Your arms around them
and meet their hearts' desires. . .
Let them know Your presence, LORD,
while binding up their wounds.
Gather each one in Your arms
and leave no one marooned.
LORD, we humbly bow before You in prayer, to lift all who are affected by the devasting fires in California. Please hear each mournful heart crying out for help, and make Your presence known —tend to their every need, LORD, while healing their broken hearts and binding up their wounds.
We also ask that You bless every Firefighter, EMT, Police and Military personnel, and all volunteers, helping to extinguish these fires, save lives, and protect the people of California.
We need Your help, LORD — "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God," (Mark 10:27, NIV). It is in Your Son's precious name that we pray. Amen.
