Before…

Falling down
yet again;
Feelings drown
fear attends.

Hope forgotten
amidst doubting;
Grace downtrodden
despair; sprouting.

Eyes now closed
distracted;
Life exposed
"self" enacted.

Now…

Forgiven
yet again;
Love driven
faith attends.

Hope renewed
amidst trust;
Grace pursued
despair; crushed.

Eyes now open
refocused;
Life is spoken
"God" noticed.
