When Winter's Done

I'm thankful now that winter's done,
hearing the songs of many birds.
I'm filled with joy that spring has come,
with pastures full of sheep and herds.

I see the flowers in their bloom.
The bees at work, I hear them buzz.
The beauty of the roses loom.
Forget how harsh the winter was.

In life, it seems that winter's long.
I wait for You when winter's done.
I fill my heart with Christian song.
To you my heart shall ever run.

Yes Lord, Your grace and love are true.
My heart so glad with Christian tune.
And like a bird, to You, I flew.
Please Lord, I ask, that you come soon.
