In winter's hush, when the world is still,
Christmas dawns on the waiting hill.
Each sign and symbol, quiet and clear,
Speaks of hope and love drawn near.
The star above, a guiding light,
Pierced the veil of the darkest night.
It led the wise to kneel and pray,
To honor the Child who'd show the way.
A beacon of faith, its glow proclaims,
God's eternal promise, in love's sweet name.
The evergreen tree, steadfast and tall,
Life everlasting, through seasons' call.
Its boughs stay green through ice and storm,
A sign of hope in every form.
Its towering branches, heaven's guide,
Remind us of grace that will abide.
The bells that chime in frosty air,
Echo the angels' joyous flair.
"Peace on earth!" their voices sing,
"Rejoice! Rejoice! For Christ is King!"
Each note resounds with love anew,
A melody pure, a faith held true.
The wreath we hang, a circle round,
No start, no end, where hope is found.
Adorned with berries, red as flame,
A symbol of Christ who bore our shame.
Its endless form, eternity's ring,
Proclaims the life our Savior brings.
The manger low, a humble bed,
Where cattle watched and angels tread.
The King of kings in hay did rest,
God's perfect gift, the world's bequest.
It whispers of love, both vast and small,
A Savior born to redeem us all.
The gifts we give, with hearts sincere,
Echo the wise men drawing near.
Though frankincense, myrrh, and gold they bore,
Our treasures are love forevermore.
Each wrapped surprise, a token of care,
Reflects the joy that we all share.
Oh, Christmas signs, your stories tell
Of Bethlehem nights and Emmanuel.
The history born of a sacred night,
When heaven burst with radiant light.
A virgin mother, her heart so still,
Bore the Child of God's great will.
And so, we feel the season's cheer,
The warmth of family drawing near.
The glow of candles, the scent of pine,
A fleeting glimpse of the divine.
Yet deeper still, the Spirit's flame,
Whispers the truth of Jesus' name.
Through every light and every sound,
In every symbol, love is found.
Oh Christmas signs, forever true,
You point the way to life anew.
