I Said a Prayer for You Today

I said a prayer for you today,
That God would follow you along your way.
That He would bless every winding path you take,
That He would sooth your every heartbreak.
And The Holy Spirit would be forever in your heart,
And never would He forsake you and depart.
That His love would fill you up and overflow
That all could see His works through you, and your relationship would grow.
I prayed that His wisdom would be in every decision you make.
That He whispers your name at every daybreak.
That He would make known to you all the love He has for you.
And that His sweet love would caress you like fresh morning dew.
Prayers for tranquility and peace
That His attention to you will never cease.
I prayed for protection for you, in summer, winter, fall and spring.
But most of all a lifelong walk with Jesus our Savior and King.
