Friend like you

It's not so dark as far as nights go
What I am doing up the Lord only knows
My thoughts are on Jesus so I let them run free
Because I like the way it feels when Christ is with me
I know He is always with me He lives in my heart
And He brings me things you can't get in Walmart
Peace Love and joy are some things He brings
He overcomes my fears and makes my heart to sing
But the greatest thing He brings from above
That's right you guessed it His everlasting love
He has strength without limits and mercies untold
Take a shy man like me and make them bold
But that is just part of the story I'll tell you true
For Jesus is looking for a friend like you
