THE KEY

Oh, no. I have lost my key…
Where on earth could it be?
I have looked high and low,
I've looked up here and down below.

I decided it was time to pray.
God, can you help in some way?
Please, just help me to find it,
I really don't want to quit!

God said, you've looked near and far,
You need to look inside your car.
Ok, so I looked in my car carefully,
Then I said to God, prayerfully.

God, I've looked everywhere,
Seriously, it is just not there!
He said to me to look once more,
Don't make this such a chore!

Once more I searched throughout,
Now, I'm getting a little burned-out!
God, can you possibly be wrong?
I have searched for so very long!

Patiently He said once again,
I have told you the truth, my friend!
Very frustrated now, I searched again,
Looking everywhere I'd already been!

So, one more time I'd give a look,
And fortunately, that was all it took.
Under the spare tire is where it was found,
Now God's truth, I will forever expound!
