Seeing Through His Lens

by Paul Purday
https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/PaulPurdayPaintings?ref=seller-platform-mcnav

We see Him through a darkened, twilight window now
Because we have not reached the perfect, to allow
What will, within the future, fill His brimming Land
Now we will walk man's gloomy world with plough in hand.

The Spirit power is given so we can farther still
see God's great Mind and how He works all to His Will
How Christ, His focal point, will sum up all to be
Perfection in a Man for all eternity.

To see through every circumstance, must point to Him
Where all His treasured riches, overflow the brim
For when our lack, and weakness, carries us away
Then His sufficiency and strength is on display.

The sufferings of the world will cause mankind to fall
But seeing through to Him who suffered more than all
Brings God within our range, who suffered in our place
Our closest Neighbour, now, will cover us with Grace.
