SOON AND VERY SOON

Soon, and very soon, I'll be with my Lord above,
I'll be with Him, my Savior that I love.
He has promised me that, in His Holy Word,
These are the greatest words I have ever heard.

Knowing I will be in Heaven for eternity,
Where He's prepared a place so perfectly.
I can't wait where I can sing and dance,
Knowing I won't be there just by chance.

Yes, my Heavenly home is waiting for me,
Where from earthly pain I'll be set free.
There will be nothing but joy and laughter,
And I will be there for ever after!

My friends, I hope to see you there,
That is my passionate and fervent prayer.
If you do not know the Lord today,
Accept Him in your heart, I pray!
