At this Easter, it's a time for reflection,
A time to accept our Savior's perfection.
It was on Good Friday that He died, oh so brave,
But it was on Easter, that He rose from the grave.
Up from the grave He arose, for those around to see,
He died and He rose again, for you and for me.
He died to save each of us from all our sin,
He died, so that we would be healed from within.
Easter is not a time of pain and sorrow,
It's a time to think about tomorrow.
A time when He will come back again,
To take those who are saved to Heaven with Him.
So, let's be ready, for just that time,
When He takes us for that eternal climb.
We'll say goodbye to this temporary home,
And go to Paradise, where we'll forever roam.
