Death of Elijah

"How are you going to die?" Elisha asked his friend.
"The Lord told me I am to go in a whirlwind," said Elijah.
"A whirlwind!" said Elisha. "That sounds exciting! Can I watch?!"
Elijah thought about this and decided to test Elisha.
He said, "You stay here at Gilgal . . . and I'll walk on, to Bethel."
