"Come in," said Quentin. So Klutsy came in. Squish, squish, squish. He had so much water in his fur that he left puddles at every step all the way to the heater.
"You forgot to wipe your feet," said Quentin. "Oops, sorry!" said Klutsy, and he wiped them on Quentin's nice, clean mat.
