Here's a puzzle for you.
Imagine a bird with a long, sharp, hooked beak like an eagle.
Talons on is large. strong feet, Few feathers around its beak,
Large wings.
And It belongs to the vulture family. . .
Did you say MEAT?
If you were thinking of most vultures, you would be right, but there is a vulture which prefers to eat palm tree nuts.
The palm nut vulture lives in Africa, and dines most of the time on the outside husks of oil palm nuts. It even seems to like picking on just one kind of tree.
It will eat the odd fish, snail or locust, but if there are palm nuts around - forget It!
Can you imagine a movie with vultures circling a palm tree?!
