Three Wooden Crosses Image

This image depicts a rough wooden cross standing before two smaller brown crosses. The image is bright but dramatic and represents the cost that Jesus paid. Being hung on a cross is cruel and torturous. There are three crosses to remind us that the crucifixion was an act of judgement. Remember that to the left and right of Jesus two criminals were crucified. Jesus himself was consider like one of them. He died on the cross for our sins. These three crosses reminds us that Christ, although innocent, died like a sinner.
