Counting Chickens Image

James 4:13-16 talks about how we should not plan our future, but rather to say, if the Lord is willing we will do such and such. So the saying, "Don't count your chickens before they hatch" is a biblical statement. We do not know what our future holds, no more than the chicken in this picture knows if all it's eggs will hatch.
