John the Baptist

This comical image of John the Baptist reminds us of the roughness of John the Baptist. He lived in the wilderness, he ate locusts and wild honey. He wore clothing made of camel's hair and a girdle of skin around his loins. His job was to prepare the way for Jesus' coming.
