Salvation Poems

The Guide or the Repairman
Some things to keep in mind when choosing between the Lord and the devil. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Choose well.

The free gift of God
A poetic exposition of the Gospel, inspired by Romans 6:23 ‘For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.’

Favored of the Lord
II Cor. 6:2 KJV: (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) We can all be favored by the Lord by accepting His salvation.

“Be ready!”
A short anaphora poem, inspired by the Scripture of Mark 13:37 and Philippians 2:12. Jesus’ message to His apostles, to be ready and watch, extends to all Christians of all times.

To Err…
The poem tries to understand, biblically, a quote often used but misunderstood., “Too err is human. Too forgive divine”. It is often used as an excuse to sin and a reason not to forgive.

You Will Be Found
This poem is about a disgruntled person who really doesn't like themselves or life, yet knows a little about faith. It concludes with a message of the hope of being found and saved by Jesus !

ITS TOO LATE NOW
Put your money in the bank of Eternity.

COME DOWN AND GET ME
Where possible help those around you to find their way. We were in their shoes once.

"Bring my soul out of prison"
I was guided to church May 15th 2016, God led me there, and had it all planned. Two elders sat at the back, I was by the back door able to make my escape if necessary. Never knew God, never read the Bible, never heard the Gospel til this Sunday evening..
