A Mother's Love I've always known
Your grace and kindness always shown
You protected us and put us first
Even when life dealt its worst
Your hurt inside, your tears, your pain
Kept to yourself, yet strength remains
You always help, you always give
Set an example how to live
Expecting nothing in return
A selfless nature all should learn
Never lazy, working hard
In your garden, in the yard
A home well kept, No dinner late
A life I cannot emulate
Forgiving, calm, wise and sound
No anger in your heart is found
Taught by example, how we were raised
A godly Mother, The Lord be Praised
