In whispers soft as dawn's first light,
And hearts aflame with sacred might,
We gather around the ancient tree,
Where faith has now laid its destiny.
Its branches bear the weight of time
Of sorrow, hope, and joy's sweet rhyme.
And in its hollowed, holy core,
The Savior's promise we now adore.
A promise vast as endless skies;
Where love and grace forever rise,
Where every tear is met with cheer;
Now, darkness turns to light so clear.
He came to us in humility clad,
To heal the wounds of sin so sad.
And with a love that knows no bounds,
He offered peace, where fear was found.
We stand as one, our voices blend,
In praise of Him, our loving Friend.
His sacrifice upon the cross
Has bought our souls at no small cost.
The Great Redeemer, kind and true,
Whose blood for us did freely flow.
He claimed us as His own that day
And led us on the narrow way.
His promise, like a gentle stream,
It flows through hearts that dare to dream;
And carves within our souls so deep,
A path that leads to heaven's keep.
Where angels sing and saints rejoice,
Where every tear is turned to heaven's noise,
We will live in harmony and release,
In that land of perfect eternal peace.
Our faith has claimed this wondrous vow,
With every breath and every bow.
We pledge our hearts, our all to give;
To He who bled that we might live.
The promise, sure and ever bright
Guides us through the darkest night.
As stars above in heaven's height,
Reflect the love that conquered plight.
In every sunrise, every dawn,
We see the promise being born.
In every heart that beats with grace,
His love has found a saving place.
So let us sing with fervent cheer,
To Him who came to draw us near.
Our faith has claimed the promised land,
And the Savior's love that understands.
And as we journey through this life,
Where storms may rage and shadows strive,
We'll hold unto the hope divine;
The promise now I clasp as mine.
For in the end, when all is done,
And battles lost and battles won,
We'll enter in the gates so fair;
Where faith has claimed the Savior's care.
