More Precious Than Gold

If we read God's Holy Word,
In its pages, we are told
That we are not redeemed
With riches as silver and gold.

My friend, we are redeemed
By the precious blood of Christ.
As a Lamb without any blemish,
Jesus Christ was sacrificed.

Far more precious than gold
Is the blood that Jesus shed.
He died for each person's sins.
Praise God! He didn't stay dead!

Yes, it was on the third day
That Jesus arose from the grave.
It is far more precious than gold
That Jesus, our souls can save!
