Life Is Just A Prayer Away

And sometimes life is cruel
But when you are on your knees
Then God makes prayer a tool
For every move each step we take
Our God is completely aware
He has the answer to the question
And He'll give it through a prayer
But sometimes we are far from Him
When struck with a tragic event
And prayer comes in a gasping breath
As we wonder where God went
But I know with certain clarity
That Our Lord never left at all
And when prayers reach out to Him
He hears our heartfelt call
And always He will come to us
Filling our heart and our mind
Holding our prayers in His Hand
He is compassionate loving and kind
For this is just another gift
And only God will know
If you are trusting in His Word
Then it will truly show
That life is just a prayer away
No matter what your pain may be
Our Lord Our Savior Jesus Christ
Sees you there on bended knee
