My Walk

I have given You my soul
For I am walking in Your Spirit
Praying make my body whole
There are moments of anguish
But I know how much You care
Even if my legs won't carry me
I feel You take me there
To a quiet place of understanding
Where I can bear the pain
Remembering all You did for me
On the cross where You were slain
Lord help me in my walk
As I wait and trust in You
Help this broken body mend
Give me strength in all that I do
For You have given me this time
To pray with deep emotion
And I cry out to You
As my heart is filled with devotion
I never thought I'd have the time
To study to think to reflect
And here I lay in constant prayer
Not one second do I neglect
Lord help me in my walk
In Your Word I study I meditate
Facing trials that are overwhelming
For a moment my heart can relate
This human heart feels that pain
Just a glimpse of suffering and shock
Everything that You did for me
Lord help me in my walk
