We Have A Great Promise

Those who claim Jesus as Savior
Have the greatest promise ever.
He promised to never leave us,
Nor to forsake us, never, never.

Others may leave and forsake us
And cause us much pain and grief,
But if we belong to Jesus Christ,
His promise is a divine relief.

We need Him on this earth below
To lead us every passing day.
We need His great hand of mercy
To direct and guide our way.

When life on earth has ended,
That same great promise is sure.
He will take us home to Glory,
For His promise will still endure.

Hebrews 13:5B, "For He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
