Worthy

by Kathleen Higham

Oh Lord I am not worthy
Of this I am absolutely sure
But You have treated me as though
As though I truly were.

Worthy-not one is worthy
Oh no, not even one!
The Father sent the Savior to die
He sent His only Son.

Oh Lord I am not worthy
To even speak Your name
You saved me from certain death
Delivered me from my shame.

The God who gives eternal life
And calls things that are not
Ambassadors, saints, children of God
When His Holy Word is sought.

Thank You Jesus for the cross
The suffering you would endure
Unworthy, yet You treated me worthy
As though I truly were.

Romans 4:17
"The God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were."
