I Have Seen

Suspended high in the sky
Quiet breathtakingly beautiful
In my mind my life passes by
Floating in crystal aqua waters
A danger lurks beneath me
A world of dreams without a fear
It's amazing what my eyes can see
Miles and miles of cold blue ice
As I straddle a crevice so deep
Water thunders downward forever
Lost in this vision I keep
Flying on a perilous mission
Then landing on a rocky bed
Boiling molten lava flowing
At night it is a fiery red
The sun rises through the clouds
All around me a brilliant gold
My face is glowing in its light
My breath releases the cold
Looking down thousands of feet
Into a crater that was once alive
The mark of destruction apparent
Not one soul would survive
Swimming in silence with giants
So close that I could touch
My heart pounds wildly in my chest
Eye to eye it was just too much
A river that roars furiously
Then a buffalo standing there
His steamy snort startled me
A mammoth head with matted hair
A stream bountiful with trout
A purplish hue in the sky above
A peaceful moment surrounds me
As I touch the one I love
There is so much more to tell
The Lord has allowed me to see
My life journeyed to this paper
These treasures God gave to me
And yet a yearning stirs me
I know there is more than this
Staring into the darkest night
Comes a whisper of His kiss
A presence that I cannot see
Overwhelming is His power
He is coming soon I think
Don't know don't know the hour
