Is It God's Will

Is it truly in God's Will
When suffering comes our way
My mind cannot conceive it
What did God really say

I came to give abundantly
All that you will ever need
And He will never hurt us
But some will not concede

He didn't come to bring pain
And we know life's not fair
But He'll bring us through it
Our God will always care

He can answer every prayer
And He listens to our pleas
I believe He's standing there
When I fall on my knees

There is so much sorrow
In grief we often wallow
When we gather in His Name
It's Jesus we must follow

For it is not in His Will
To take away one's life
It's just part of living here
And we will live in strife

Thank the Lord for tomorrow
If on that day you awake
Another day to praise Him
Knowing He could not forsake

He carries every pain we have
And yet we wonder still
But He will never hurt us
It's just not in God's Will
