Your Smile

Your smile could brighten any room
It beams across your face
And anybody meeting you
Would think you've found your place
Among the few who have it all
Refusing to give way
To all the doom and gloom about
In Jesus, you must lay.

But once you're out of public gaze
Your perma grin goes out
Fear and bitterness return
You're full of pain and doubt
Only Christ can set you free
From all you have to bear
Let them see your human side
That you say isn't there.
