You have touched my soul
A perfect card for my friend
All that you have given me
Someone only God could send

You have touched my soul
In me the deepest sigh
Not planning on another friend
And God knows the reason why

You have touched my soul
There was nothing I could do
Opened up the door to my heart
Closed it, after you walked through

You have touched my soul
Unfathomable how much I care
As I begged God on my knees
Did you come in answer to prayer

You have touched my soul
I've been there once before
My friend was everything to me
God took her, and I said no more

But, you have touched my soul
Did not expect to feel this way
Oh, how you have touched my soul
Forever, forever and a day
