I'm a member of Your flock
A sheep, that's what I am
Though I try to follow You
I act just like a lamb
That gambols off Your narrow path
To where the dangers lay
Why can't I concentrate on You
Instead of making hay.

I know that You will rescue me
Return me to the course
That You have mapped out, just for me
Together we're a force
Let me gracefully mature
By grazing at Your feet
I will fatten on Your word
Be spiritually complete.
