That Sinless Place

by Kathleen Higham

Lord, I'm so humbled by my sins
My secrets will be judged by Him
And I pray for You to intercede
As my future is looking pretty dim

Lord, I'm so humbled by my sins
There is no cause that matters more
For nothing that I will ever be
Can free me or open that door

Lord, I'm so humbled by my sins
Please God, I cry a broken plea
Life without You is filled with pain
Oh, Holy Spirit come and rescue me

Lord, I'm so humbled by my sins
In my mind, this battle every day
There is nothing worthy I can see
It's only to You I can say

Lord, I'm so humbled by my sins
I can not bear to be incomplete
As this heavy burden has buried me
I fall in sorrow at Your feet

Lord, I'm so humbled by my sins
My heart won't allow me to cry
Oh, Holy Spirit come and rescue me
If in my sleep I should die

Lord, I'm so humbled by my sins
If only I could see Your face
Where the vile can never claim me
Take me there, to that sinless place
