Just for me

In the stillness of the morning
when I can barely see the sun,
with the dewdrops on the grass
which shows the day has just begun.

It is here I am most peaceful
with the silence all around,
and the worries from the day before
are nowhere to be found.

I can focus on the day to come
and find the courage to be bold,
unaware of what the day will bring
or what worries it will hold.

It is a time between the dreams I've had
and the ones not yet to be,
and deep within my heart
it feels created just for me.
