Landlord

When we asked our Saviour in
We kicked the landlord out
he'd been a fixture since our birth
he ordered us about
Now we had a different Lord
Who wanted to arrange
The transformation of our minds
That only he could change.

satan will not stay away
he wants to move back in
By nudging insecurities
he gives us chance to sin
We're the ones who give him power
To take back all our gains
Send him packing back to hell
So only Christ remains.
