On the Edge of Surrender

Standing on the edge of surrender
Not understanding Your grace
Your love so full of risks
That meets me in this place

It seems to be much simpler
Being strong instead of broken
Easier to pretend you're happy
Than have your heart laid open

Chains I once left behind
Shackled again are bound
I don't remember who I am
Incessant enemies surround

This place darker than ever
Right before the sun shines in
Meet me in this surrender
Repair the broken once again

You took a chance on my heart
Lead my rebellious heart through
You risked it all for my love
I need to give myself back to You

Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
