She flows through her children
I see her in their ways
A tenderness, a kindness
A woman deserving praise.
She flows through her children
Exuding a Godly Grace
A commanding presence in her
Wisdom is etched in her face.
She flows through her children
When life to her, unfair
I marvel at such affection
They are awesome and quite rare.
She flows through her children
Her eyes sparkle in delight
Her laughter fills a quiet room
She is precious in God's sight.
She flows through her children
A Mother who demands respect
They look to her with confidence
Knowing she will firmly direct.
She flows through her children
Someday they will all meet
Gathered at the feet of Christ
When at last her job, complete.
She flows through her children
Then gently lets them go
She flows through her children
God loves that this is so.
