Ever spent an anxious night?
In a chair, beside a bed
A loved one sick and hurting
As fear swirls in your head.
He will come and meet you
No matter where you are
Close your eyes and ask Him
Our Lord is never far.
Ever find yourself ashamed?
For something you have done
A sin you tried not to commit
It is covered by His Son.
He will come and meet you
Walk away from your pride
No sin can truly burden you
That is why Jesus died.
Ever feel an emptiness?
As your faith ebbs away
Struggling for the answer
Just to endure another day.
He will come and meet you
Carry you through it all
There's nothing He wouldn't do
Especially when you fall.
Ever feel a brokenness?
A life of unbearable loss
Jesus came and paid the price
Went willingly to the Cross.
He will come and meet you
Then forever He will stay
He will come and meet you
The moment you begin to pray.
